-4001 Wicker White
-4030 Dioxazine Purple
FolkArt One Stroke Enamel Brushes - Sets 4150 and 4151
¾ Flat, #12 Flat and #6 flat
Clean ceramic surface with alcohol and allow to dry. Trace or draw pattern on project if desired.
(Refer to color worksheet throughout)
Double load ¾ flat brush with Dioxazine Purple and Wicker White. With white to outer edge paint top outer petal of pansies.
Double load 3/4 flat brush with Dioxazine Purple and Wicker White. Paint lower petals of pansies with purple to outer edge.
Double load 3/4 flat brush with Dioxazine Purple and Sunflower. Paint inner petals with Sunflower Yellow to outer edge.
Double load #6 flat brush with Dioxazine Purple and Wicker White. Start on chisel edge and paint leaf like stroke in centers of full pansy. With same brush chisel edge stroke upward strokes in centers of pansies.
Load script liner with Sunflower and Thicket and paint comma stroke in centers of full pansies. Dot centers using end of brush.
Double load #12 flat brush with Thicket and Sunflower. Starting on chisel edge paint wiggle leaves.
Using same brush, add a small amount of Dioxazine Purple to white side of brush. Working in a small amount of floating medium, paint onestroke leaves. Pull stems into leaves using script liner and add curlicues..
Load #12 flat brush with Wicker White. Start at top, on chisel edge and pounce white hanging flowers.
Allow to cure 21 days or bake. Bake: (Ceramic Only) Air dry for 1 hour. Place in cool oven, heat to 350 degrees. Bake 30 minutes. Cool in oven, remove.
