PREPARATION
Clean surface with dry towel to remove excess dust. Base coat tray the color of your choice. Trace or draw pattern on project.
PAINTING INSTRUCTIONS
(Refer to color worksheet throughout)
Load a 3/4" flat with Wicker White. Work in a good amount of Floating Medium. Keeping white to the outer edge as you paint the outline of the lace. Fill in center with heavy Floating Medium and Wicker White. Find a point to pull in folds, with white to outer edge, pull folds to top. Add folds through out the width of the lace.
Load a #10 flat brush with Wicker White. Work in Floating Medium. Start on the chisel edge, pull down as you push and slide into the tear drop, sliding back up on the chisel edge. Add loops of lace in different directions following the directions of the folds of lace.
Load a #2 script liner with inky Wicker White. Outline outer and inside edges of each loop and arch. Add threads in lace with same brush. Using the tip of the handle, dipped in Wicker White, add French dots. Complete stitching of lace.
Load a #10 flat brush with Wicker White. Work in Floating Medium and paint the string of pearls and earrings.
Load a #8 flat brush with Wicker White. Work in Floating Medium and with white to outer edge, paint the full rose, large wiggle leaf and One Stroke leaves. Pull stems into leaves using the chisel edge of the brush.
Load a #2 Script Liner with Wicker White. Pick up a small amount of Licorice and paint pearl clasp and earring loops.
FINISHING
Allow project to dry. Following directions on can, spray with Matte or Satin Finish.
